The Blue Moon is designed by WSL Longboard World Champion, Rachael Tilly. Inspired by the many magic boards which Rachael has loved their attributes and taken her to glory.
The blue moon longboard has many versatile characteristics to suit riders looking to find a responsive and manoeuvrable craft, which has been tailored to be a user friendly shape for all users looking to transition into long boarding or those looking to nose ride and lay into some serious turns.
"The outline of the blue moon has been adapted to based on what I would normally ride with a pulled in pintail along with a hard edge through the tail combined with 60/40 rails to give the blue moon increased drive and response."
The Blue moon has added nose and tail lift and gives this board the extra curve to surf more critical wave conditions along with make this board take on suckier drops and sections with ease compared to traditional logs with less curve. These attributes are complimented by a full nose and extra rocker making this a stable platform for when you want to cross step and learn how to nose ride.
The EPS foam core increases buoyancy along with makes for a lighter board without compromising its strength and makes the blue moon paddles into waves with less effort and ease.
The blue moon is a great all round option for all wave conditions and all riders abilities to be used on the points and on the beach breaks.
If you are looking for a longboard that is versatile, responsive on the tail as well as reassuring and has a traditional feel while on the nose, This is the one for you!
