Retail & Warehouse Assistant Part Time – Auckland
Join us at The Surfboard Warehouse and help bring Legendary Customer Service to our community!
We’re looking for a motivated Retail and Warehouse Assistant, who’s ready to exceed expectations, contribute to an awesome store vibe, and create REMARKABLE outcomes for everyone who interacts with our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence: Assist customers with sales and enquiries, delivering exceptional service in every interaction.
- Sales and Operations: Work with your team to meet sales goals and operational targets.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders efficiently to meet production goals and ensure customers are stoked with their purchases.
- Merchandising & Store Duties: Help keep our store looking top-notch, follow visual standards, complete checklists, and participate in training.
- Warehouse Tasks: Support inventory stocking, store transfers, and maintain the warehouse area.
- Health and Safety: Follow workplace health and safety guidelines and maintain compliance, reporting any issues to management.
Key Requirement:
- Must have surfing experience or a strong understanding of surf equipment and surf culture.
Daily Duties:
- Sales transactions, POS use, laybys
- Customer order prep, including surfboard wrapping and dispatch
- Store transfers, audits, and general cleaning duties
- Answering phones and providing in-store support
- Safe loading/unloading of customer orders
